Supported by Creative Ireland
Creative Calling - Careers for the Curious is a new programme from Creative Ireland, with support from Screen Ireland, the Arts Council, and Coimisiún na Meán, and managed by Cultural and Creative Industries Skillnet.
The aim of the Creative Calling - Careers for the Curious is to make young people more aware of the various career and skills opportunities that exist across the creative sector. By working with schools and creative organisations, listening to young people, and taking part in some key events in 2026, the Creative Calling - Careers for the Curious programme will set the groundwork for meaningful future developments in this space.
What are the creative industries?
The creative sectors incorporated in our programme include: film and tv; animation, VFX, and post-production; digital creative industries; art, design, and architecture; performance and music; writing, journalism, and media.
In 2026, the Creative Calling team wants to meet as many young people, and talk to as many creative organisations, as possible! Please come and chat to us at one of our upcoming events, and keep a close eye on the website for new announcements.
