Drimnagh Community Festival

Drimnagh Summer Festival takes place on July 5-7, across multiple venues, parks, the canal and streets. Tidy Drimnagh, in association with Dublin City Council and Drimnagh Residents Community Group, are launching the three-day festival in Good Counsel GAA club on Friday, July 5, where there will be food and entertainment. On Saturday, Brickfield Park will be busy from 1pm to 5pm with music, food, dance, and entertainment for all the family, along with sports competitions and “have-a-go” areas run by local clubs. On Sunday, the festival will be based at the canal for more activities and a historical walk and talk beginning at 12 at the park.

A festival like this is the perfect way for us to come together and celebrate as a community. Some highlights include workshops for children by Recreate Ireland, bricks4kids, Children’s Books Ireland, a fairy trail train-ride around the park, and musical acts on stage. There will be sports events with the Bosco Football Club and the local Good Counsel GAA as well as water activities on the canal. Entry is free, and there is something for everyone, so it’s the perfect event for anyone looking to get out and about and enjoy our area this Summer.

Please note that the details of events listed above are provided by the relevant Local Authorities.
