This project aims to provide a textual and visual interpretation of a series of outdoor exhibitions on the history of Ireland, 1912 to 1920 which are on permanent display in Cavan County Museum. The production of an information publication and an accompanying YouTube presentation will allow the Museum to share these exhibitions with a wider audience in an engaging and creative way by ‘lifting history off the pages’ and presenting it through text and visual stimulus. The production and recording of a visual drama experience on YouTube which complements the publication will bring this period of Irish history to life through the medium of drama, music and sound.
