A Family Season of theatre for young audiences in partnership with Kilkenny Arts Festival.

Barnstorm seeks to build family audiences by presenting quality national and international work as part of a summer festival. The important partnership with KAF provides a mutually beneficial relationship through which to present this work at a time that allows families to engage with the arts.

After the successful realisation of a Family Festival in 2016 and 2017, Barnstorm had to postpone the 2018 edition due to unforeseen circumstances.

StormFest 2019, with the support of Creative Ireland through our local authority, will present three productions representing exciting and innovative work for family audiences, and proposes to explore a series of other events for families (including storytelling and workshops).
