Éigse Peter Carberry

Éigse Peter Carberry is a weekend festival that highlights the importance of the Uilleann Pipes as a traditional music instrument. This year is the inaugural year, and the festival will run from April 12th to 14th, 2019.

The festival is dedicated to the memory and legacy of Uilleann Piper, Peter Carberry, patron and  founder member of Na Píobairí Uilleann. Peter was also a world travelled musician with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and was chosen to accompany former President Mary Robinson on her state visit to Portugal.

During the festival, there will be traditional music, song, story-telling, Irish language and dance. For further information: https://www.facebook.com/Eigse-Peter-Carberry-2290724531140680/
