This project features the training of young people and youth leaders on the Cooley Peninsula (8th Louth Slieve Foy Scout Group) to design and create hand-carved walking staves, wooden spoons (carved with whittling knives) and turned bowls, created using a traditional foot treadle-powered pole lathe.
