Wainfest Children\u2019s Arts and Book festival has evolved into one of the largest children\u2019s cultural festivals in the country in terms of duration, diversity and scope. The festival provides opportunities for children from birth to twelve years for creative engagement with reading, language, arts, culture and heritage. The festival strives to be truly inclusive by providing events across the whole county, including the off shore islands. In 2020 Wainfest will have a very different look, as we go virtual with a vibrant line up of top children\u2019s authors and storytellers.<\/p>\n
This virtual festival will be inclusive and accessible and will provide opportunities children to enjoy quality cultural performances free of charge. Wainfest will engage with Cahoots NI, a professional theatre company based in Belfast. The show will be produced specifically for an online audience and will offer children the opportunity to experience high- quality live theatre.\u00a0This collaboration allows new work of cultural and educational value for children and their families.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
