{"id":11096,"date":"2020-09-18T03:04:14","date_gmt":"2020-09-18T02:04:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/event\/cavan-arts-festival-2020\/"},"modified":"2020-09-18T03:04:14","modified_gmt":"2020-09-18T02:04:14","slug":"cavan-arts-festival-2020","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/cavan-arts-festival-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Cavan Arts Festival 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><span><span><span>Cavan Arts Festival 2020 has re-imagined its programme of work to continue to bring accessible quality arts experiences to the people of the town and county.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span>Two major commissioning projects are being developed for professional artists to engage with the urban landscape of Cavan Town through their artistic practise; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span><span><strong><span>A Major Mural Project : <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><span><span><span>The commissioning of a large-scale mural to be painted by a professional muralist which will hold a lasting legacy in the artistic landscape of the centre of Cavan Town.\u00a0 The artist will complement this work by delivering a series of talks on their work to the local community.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span><span><strong><span>Street Gallery Project : <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><span><span><span>A professional lead artist will work on the creation and installation of a new strand to the festival programming in light of Covid-19 restrictions: Street Gallery.
