The primary aim of ‘Pass it On’ is to keep traditional skills and activities alive through sharing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Galway City Museum will actively engage with the public by inviting older members of society – many of whom are familiar with skills and practices which are alien to the younger generation – to send in recipes, patterns, sewing tips, gardening ideas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Galway City Museum website will create a space where people can respond with their results, problems, queries (my scones don’t rise) . We will structure the page in such a way that those who make the suggestions can provide a ‘here’s one I made earlier….images’.\u00a0Those who follow their “Pass it on” suggestions and recipes can also submit their finished products.<\/p>\n
