{"id":11459,"date":"2020-10-09T03:02:43","date_gmt":"2020-10-09T02:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/event\/covid-care-concerts-2\/"},"modified":"2020-10-09T03:02:43","modified_gmt":"2020-10-09T02:02:43","slug":"covid-care-concerts-2","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/covid-care-concerts-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Covid Care Concerts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Covid\u00a0Care Concerts is a new project that has been devised by the Mobile Music Machine (<strong>MMM<\/strong>) in response to the many social challenges presented by Covid 19.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They specialise in delivery high quality, string and operatic workshops and have been commissioned by Fingal County Council\u00a0to deliver 10 concerts in residential care homes around the administrative area of Fingal\u00a0using local musicians during the autumn\/winter\u00a0of 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Each performance will take place in the grounds of the nursing home, allowing the musicians to follow social distancing guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>The musicians will liaise directly with the care homes in advance of the visit to engage residents in the process of choosing the music that will be performed to help deliver a more meaningful visit.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to allow residents who during this difficult time when families are not in a position to visit and access to occupational therapy such as arts and music have been lost to experience the therapeutic joy of live classical music.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":11460,"template":"","class_list":["post-11459","event","type-event","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.9 -
