YOYO POP was developed by staff and volunteers<\/span><\/span>, including artists from a range of creative disciplines <\/span><\/span>of <\/span><\/span>Youthwork Ireland (<\/span><\/span>YWI<\/span><\/span>)<\/span><\/span> Midlands<\/span><\/span> Mullinga<\/span><\/span>r<\/span><\/span> in<\/span><\/span> consultation with a range of interested young people, statutory, voluntary and crucially community practitioners <\/span><\/span>as a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>response<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to identified needs based on three connected strands for youth potential and progression<\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Culture event and activity generation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Artistic<\/span><\/span> & artisan<\/span><\/span> creativity development and performance<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Music and <\/span><\/span>Service Industry experiential learning<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

YoYo POP will operate in a time of Covid 19 pandemic that recognizes a new normal best practice in creative development and\u00a0output that includes online and blended learning and production, the inclusion of outdoor resources and facilities (under top cover – it is Ireland) and the need for socially distanced experiential learning and performance\/activity environments. YoYo POP will nurture artists who are currently struggling to survive financially and whose creative output to the wider community has become stymied and unprofitable.\u00a0The young practitioners will work in pods of four receiving one to one and small group artistic and tutorial supports that will allow them to develop the skills and knowledge to\u00a0organise, develop and facilitate youth culture focused and community artistic and artisan activities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":11622,"template":"","class_list":["post-11621","event","type-event","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nYOYO POP (Pathways of Progression) -
