The group has been established since 2017 and caters for 12-15 children in a supported and caring environment.<\/p>\n<p>The addition of the Sensory Pod to complement the existing &#8216;Magic Table&#8217; now means that Oldcastle is a centre of excellence for community support to children and young people with sensory needs. Situated in North Meath, Oldcastle has a high level of social exclusion as the area is geographically\u00a0isolated and services are concentrated in county towns. The library has a reach into counties Cavan and Westmeath and the new service has reversed trends with people now travelling to the north of the county to access these facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Meath Arts Office and Solstice Arts Centre will\u00a0deliver autism friendly arts and culture outreach projects to North Meath via the new resources at Oldcastle library.
