This year Sult na Soll\u00e1n\u00a0will host a virtual festival and that will give everybody an opportunity to take part. There are events and competitions for all ages \u2013 children and adults \u2013 and great prizes to be won!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Richie Conroy will host a writing workshop for primary school children (age 8+) on 2nd March and Julie Anne de Br\u00fan will host a workshop for younger children on 13th March. There are art, writing, photography and short film making competitions for different age groups. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you are interested in technology, register for the lecture as Gaeilge on 9th March; if you would like to use more Irish with your children, join Niamh\u2019s bilingual event on 10th March; if you want a helping hand to take care of yourself, register for the \u2018Meditation for your own wellbeing\u2019 as Gaeilge with Helen on 3rd March.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sult na Soll\u00e1n would love you to send your videos and photographs for their\u00a0virtual parade. Send them to snag2021sultnasollan@gmail.com<\/a> before 16 March and then enjoy the parade at 14:00 on St. Patrick\u2019s Day.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meitheal Chill Dara will take place on 6th March. This annual gathering gives an opportunity to the Irish language community in Kildare to come together to share their experiences and visions.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is only a quick taste of the events taking place. There are plenty others to enjoy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
