The series is aimed at Cork people living abroad &amp; people from abroad living in Cork.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Maeve Higgins, contributing opinion writer with The New York Times and author of three essay collections, will facilitate the six-week course. Speaking about this series, Maeve stated \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to have this opportunity to connect with other Irish writers of all levels. Creative non-fiction has been a wonderful path through curiosity to self-expression for me.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Maeve will facilitate workshops on: memoir, the personal essay, literary journalism and cultural commentary.
