Musicians on Call is a project where professionally trained musicians\u00a0from\u00a0Kids Classics\u00a0work in healthcare settings,\u00a0to connect music-making opportunities to residents and healthcare staff in nursing homes and community hospitals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This project will be\u00a0led by\u00a0Limerick\u00a0Culture and\u00a0Arts Office in collaboration with\u00a0Age Friendly\u00a0Limerick and\u00a0Healthy Limerick. It is delivered in partnership with Artistic Partner Kids Classics, the Health Service Executive (HSE)\u00a0and\u00a0Clare and Tipperary County Councils.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There will be 12 visits to\u00a02 nursing homes in Limerick\u00a0(offering live and virtual visit options)\u00a0and\u00a0a set of taster sessions in Clare and North Tipperary to an additional 7 settings. This will promote health and well-being by improving the quality of life and cultural access for those\u00a0who\u00a0live and work in Healthcare settings and bring high-quality live music to vulnerable older members of our communities living in nursing homes, and their carers, in a way that is more than an outside-in audio live broadcast, driven\u00a0by equity of experience for all,\u00a0and a shared social experience.<\/p>\n
