Mayo in Summer 2021.\u00a0<span>No longer used for commercial shipping, now an amenity area, a suburb notable for its many warehouse conversions, restaurants and pubs and location of the Clew Bay Heritage Centre, and is popular sea swimming place.<\/span><br \/><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">This\u00a0will be\u00a0a temporary\u00a0exhibition of high quality contemporary sculpture June \u2013 September 2021 at the public amenity at Westport Quay Co Mayo, in compliance with CV-19 restrictions.<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Opportunities for\u00a0 artists to exhibit\u00a0sculpture\u00a0works in\u00a0a prominent\u00a0amenity\u00a0outdoor\u00a0 area.\u00a0Sculptors are invited to submit proposals for exhibition which are; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\"><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Professional and contemporary works in sculpture.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Made in a manner and from materials suitable for exhibition outdoors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Can be exhibited safely outdoors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">May or may not be site specific.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Existing works not previously exhibited.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">New works.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Works are feasible to exhibit outdoors<strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Ten sculptures to be selected for exhibition by a peer selection panel. Not more than one sculpture from each applicant.
