This project will engage two groups of people, a group of older people in the community\u00a0and a\u00a0group of TY students, in a series of themed conversations that will lift the lid on the \u201cgrey ceiling\u201d and provide a public voice for the older generation who are becoming more and more socially isolated\u00a0because of the rapid developments in technology as the go-to medium of communication.<\/p>\n

A series of workshops will prepare both groups to examine, develop and prepare their \u201cconversations\u201d for a public sharing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This project is unique and innovative and will have a lasting impact on participants.\u00a0Neither group, despite living in the same community, have an opportunity to collaborate and share ideas so this project will have a lasting positive effect not just within the project but on a day to day basis as well.\u00a0It will open the lines of communication, break down barriers and stimulate new relationships and understanding.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
