This project will connect us to our past. The participants will explore items or old buildings which sparks questions on their culture and heritage. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Members may have or remember items that their Mother,Father ,Grandmother or grandfather used.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As a group we will discuss the many possibilities for the project to unfold. People may have an item at home they wish to research, photograph and document. We will research all about the items chosen by visiting museums or old houses and online.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The item will then be the inspiration to create art using many different media selected by the person and suitable for the item<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will document everything in written and picture form in our Connecting to the Past booklet. The book will be a collaboration of everyone\u2019s work. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If Covid is a problem this project will be facilitated online, with one-to-one time always given to each participant to ensure safety at these strange times.<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will print a A5 size booklet make a ”Connecting to the past” which will have a picture of the item a little history of the item, the persons story or connection and the creation inspired by the item.
