Horizons<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span> will work to support positive ageing and <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>mitigate the negative <\/span><\/strong>impact of cocooning<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>by supporting vulnerable older persons & their <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>carers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> to stay connected and engaged through a creative activity and <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>re-acquaint themselves with the act of meeting up<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>while working with writers <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>to enable them to voice their experience of the social isolation felt in the last year <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>and to share their own stories and creativity.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Writer in Residence <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Programme<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> with writer Arnold Thomas Fanning<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> will begin by working with buddy pods of 2\/4\/6 depending on guidelines.
