The Leitrim Heritage Office has been working on a project to\u00a0raise awareness about The Leitrim Chair, a\u00a0piece of furniture whose genesis can be traced back to county Leitrim.<\/p>\n

The Leitrim Chair is a traditional style of chair which would have been common in the North West. In this short film Rosa Meehan, Curator for the National Museum of Country Life, will tell us about the origins of this chair in Leitrim and expert craftsman Charles Perpoil will show us how to make this simple and beautiful piece of furniture.<\/p>\n
