This short film tells the story of a young woman’s struggle to gain freedom from her domestic situation. Her dysfunctional family life is turned on its head by one simple act. The telling of the story and its serious subject matter is relayed in a quirky style, which at times verges on black comedy.<\/p>\n

This film will be shot over four days in Clarecastle. Actors include Chris Rowley and Maeve McGrath, both of PADDY. Written and directed by Philip Shanahan. Produced by Keith Bogue and Philip Shanahan.<\/p>\n

Filming will begin in October.
