Ida took up studio residency at Uillinn from 29 September to 6 November. She worked with Mentor Sarah Ruttle and was supported by Programme Manager Justine Foster to devise and deliver a postal project for 8 older people at home.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Ida Mitrani concerns and interests are influenced by concepts and theories of plant culture in the current environmental crisis, including plant blindness, post-naturalism and hybrid material. The creative process explores the relationship and the interaction between humans, plants and technology, and looks at the function and meaning of weeds in today\u2019s society.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>By focusing on our changing environment and the future of our land during the current ecological crisis, Ida Mitrani invited the participants to explore local plants and their benefits through a creative process and discussions.
