Dance Limerick\u00a0will continue their Creativity in Older Age project with four artists associated with Limerick, to produce short\u00a0dance works\u00a0for presentation at residential care homes.\u00a0Dance Limerick has recently\u00a0approved\u00a0a new\u00a0Equality and Inclusion policy,\u00a0and\u00a0the project enables Dance Limerick to expand its civic role\u00a0within the county, and to\u00a0bring dance outside of its own premises, while providing residents of care homes with a high quality experience of\u00a0dance and social interaction with artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This project will continue to engage and perform with a minimum of 10 plus residential care homes in Limerick until the end of December 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The artists will\u00a0provide two workshops in each of two homes. These workshops will\u00a0explore\u00a0residents\u2019 favourite music, some of their stories and\u00a0will include some simple movement and\u00a0stretching. These will be carried out in line with current Covid-19 restrictions and government guidelines will be followed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
