The \u00a0aim of the \u2018Made in Laois\u2019 co-create Grant\u00a0Scheme\u00a0<\/strong>is to bring together a creative <\/span><\/span><\/span>practitioner \/ organisation and collaborate with a local community \/ communities of place and interest*.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The grant scheme is only for co-creation and collaborative initiatives that contribute to creative and cultural activities within Laois.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Community of place is a group of people that live in the same area, while a community of interest is a group of people brought together through a common interest,\u00a0 for example a heritage group, literary group, historical society, community drama group, artists collective, community choir, makerspace, school, etc. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is the third round of the scheme which was initiated in 2020 under the Job Stimulus Fund.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The \u00a0scheme supports collaborations \/ co-creations that<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Places creativity at the heart of our communities <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Contributes to Innovative place-making initiatives \/ projects <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Develops Collaborations between creatives and local communities \/ initiatives<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Enhances local cultural and creative infrastructures<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
