Creative Ireland Laois is seeking artists to create and deliver a programme of activities\/ events to celebrate\u00a0Cruinni\u00fa na n\u00d3g on Saturday 11 June.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> inviting applications from <\/span><\/span><\/span>creative practitioners, artists, and art organisations<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\/groups (including a team of creative practitioners) who have the capacity to devise, facilitate and deliver creative content and activities for children and young people <\/span><\/span><\/span>in any medium or artform (examples include theatre, music, circus, street art, performance, fashion, photography, digital arts, installation art, literature, storytelling, architecture, coding, biodiversity, folklife, heritage, archaeology, landscape). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

E<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>vents should be focused on children and young people<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> with <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>children and young people<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> themselves consulted and included in creating the <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>event. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, we<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> welcome and will prioritise applications that give access to groups of children and young people who haven\u2019t had such opportunities before. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Have a chat with <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>children and young people <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>and see what they\u2019re interested in and develop a plan together…maybe they\u2019ve always wanted to <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>learn how to juggle<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>, do some incredible science experiments, or explore their own community in a creative way. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
