Fingal Arts Office and the Irish Institute of Music and Song<\/a> are hosting a week of free workshops and activities for children, young people and families with <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>events suitable for all age groups from 0 to 18 being delivered.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday the 12th of June will be Early Years Day, <\/span>led by Rebecca Gilbert.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sing To Your Baby<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>
For babies 6 weeks to 3 years.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
Maximum number of family groups: 10 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This class helps babies sleep, bond and develop. Participants learn to sing to their little <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>ones and enjoy the soothing and calming effects of music with great benefits for parents <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>and babies. Using familiar songs, nursery rhymes and poems we help develop a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>repertoire of gorgeous songs families can enjoy for years to come and our small class\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>sizes allow them to meet and make friends with other parents of new babies. The class\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>has a strong focus on looking after Mums post-partum, discussing topics like sleep, birth\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>experiences and feeding, and finishing each class with tea, cake and chats.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our fun, friendly pre-instrumental classes give children a\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>great head-start in musical learning. Kids learn the\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>basic building blocks of music; rhythm, pitch, solfa.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
