Backstage Theatre’s 2022 residency programme will have three strands.\u00a0 One strand for artists working in all disciplines, one strand for a dance artist delivered in collaboration with Shawbrook and one strand for an artist making work for children and young audiences in collaboration with Branar’s Meitheal programme.<\/p>\n

This third annual residency programme will see 5 successful artists selected from 45 submissions and artists will be awarded bursaries of up to \u20ac5,000 and given access to the studio at Backstage for up to two weeks.\u00a0 Accommodation will be provided for the lead artist and any collaborators.<\/p>\n

A call out will be issued to artists on Backstage Theatre’s website and social media platforms.<\/p>\n
