Louise teaches crime fiction workshops throughout Ireland, including the Irish Writers\u2019 Centre.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Declan Burke\u00a0is the author of\u00a0Eightball Boogie\u00a0(2003),\u00a0The Big O\u00a0(2007),\u00a0Absolute Zero Cool\u00a0(2011),\u00a0Slaughter\u2019s Hound\u00a0(2012),\u00a0Crime Always Pays\u00a0(2014),\u00a0The Lost and the Blind\u00a0(2014), and\u00a0The Lammisters\u00a0(2019).\u00a0Absolute Zero Cool\u00a0was shortlisted in the crime fiction section for the Irish Book Awards, and received the Goldsboro Award for Best Humorous Crime Novel in 2012.\u00a0Eightball Boogie\u00a0and\u00a0Slaughter\u2019s Hound\u00a0were also shortlisted for the Irish Book Awards.
