The \u2018Green Futures\u2019 initiative provides an opportunity for a group of children and young people from Cranmore in County Sligo to work collaboratively with a professional artist, while exploring important themes and ideas that connect to Climate Action. Kids\u2019 Own is strongly committed to Climate Action as an area of priority within our work. This project builds on the work that we began last year (through the Sligo Creative Ireland Open Call), and we are keen to really extend the impact that we can have in this area. (Click here to read more about the pilot: <\/span><\/span>https:\/\/kidsown.ie\/climate-action-resource-back-from-printers\/<\/span><\/span><\/a> A research report from the project highlights the value in connecting children with themes of Climate Action and recognises the strong potential for much more work in this area:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We recognise the crucial role that children can have in shaping their own futures and as equal and active citizens in our society.
