Aistear and your local library<\/strong> is a research project designed to explore and identify opportunities for early childhood educators to utilise their local library and library resources in support of their application of the Aistear framework in their respective early childhood settings.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As well as providing the structure for a subsequent series of CPD workshops for early years educators, it is anticipated that the project will:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Develop awareness of early literacy supports and resources available within the local library system for early childhood educators <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Facilitate the design of support materials aimed to assist early childhood educators in the integration of the local library and their respective resources through their application of the Aistear Framework in their day-to-day practice.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
