‘Footings’ is an excerpt of a larger theatre project in development by artists, Cormac & Lorraine Reilly. It is a fictional play with music set in North Offaly which demonstrates and represents facets of the culture, archaeological heritage, history, mythologies and traditions of the area. Dr. Ciaran Reilly (Edenderry Historical Society) will guide and advise on historical research to inform and inspire the further development of the larger project.<\/p>\n

The project involves undertaking a 2-day exploratory developmental theatre workshop with a cast of local performers working through the script and a number of original compositions.
