The aim of the choir is to create a supportive, relaxed social space for people with dementia to meet and\u00a0to promote a sense of inclusion,<\/span><\/span> <span><span>togetherness and achievement and self worth. It is an opportunity for them to engage in a meaningful activity with their family\/carer\/loved ones.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span>The choir is facilitated through the Occupational Therapy Department HSE Longford\/Westmeath and the Alzheimer\u2019s society Longford\/Westmeath. We will meet on every second Wednesday\u00a0 from 12.00 to 3.30pm in Slashers GAA club room.\u00a0 \u00a0All levels of singing abilities are welcome. You can sing, hum, clap along or just listen to the music.
