There are approximately 80,000 citizens over the age of 55 living in Fingal. Born at a time when quality music, such as Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Disco & Soul was produced, the ability to get out in a festival setting to dance and celebrate 20th century culture in all its vibrant colours and sounds is not quite as accessible for Fingal\u2019s older aged citizens as it is for younger generations. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Set in the grounds of the beautifully restored Swords Castle<\/em><\/strong> which is a central location for Fingal Residents \u2013 Fingal\u2019s Vintage Music and Arts Festival<\/em><\/strong> promises to be an older adult event which will encourage reconnection, fun, entertainment, engagement while instilling a sense of health happiness and wellbeing and belonging for our older aged citizens all excluding the need to set up a tent! The event will build on on Fingal County Councils commitment to \u201cAging Well in Fingal\u201d and aims to create a unique atmosphere where Fingal\u2019s Older aged citizens can step back in time and reminisce about the music, fashion, Film, art and creativity through music, dance & entertainment. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A call out to bands, musicians and entertainers, creatives interested in being part of this event will be issued through Fingal\u2019s social media and communication channels. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Transport to and from the event will be provided for all. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
