{"id":26845,"date":"2023-10-13T03:03:43","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T02:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/event\/compassionate-community-network-caherciveen\/"},"modified":"2023-10-13T03:03:43","modified_gmt":"2023-10-13T02:03:43","slug":"compassionate-community-network-caherciveen","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/compassionate-community-network-caherciveen\/","title":{"rendered":"Compassionate Community Network Caherciveen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>A gentle weekly session where creative practices offer a supportive environment to encourage conversation about dying, death, loss and grief.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Led by artist-facilitators Tara Donoghue and Nancy Holmes Smith supported by the Irish Hospice Foundation and the Age Friendly Office of Kerry County Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>About The Compassionate Culture Network<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">With all citizens affected by loss, some by extreme loss, and during a period where normal patterns of grieving were disrupted, Irish Hospice Foundation established our Compassionate Culture Network (CCN) pilot programme in 2021 \u2013 2022 as a rapid Covid \u201319 pandemic response with the support of Creative Ireland<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">The arts help process sensation into meaning.
