The legend of St. Brigid\u2019s cloak tells us how she acquired the land on which to build her monastery.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over a series of three workshops in the Fingal Makerspace, participants will design their own Brigid\u2019s cloak in the form of a quilt.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Each three-hour session will focus on different aspects of the design and practicalities of printmaking and quilt construction, culminating in the creation of a large St. Brigid\u2019s quilted cloak (Brat Br\u00edde) for display on St. Brigid\u2019s Day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
