It is a collaborative project between Creative Spark, Centre for Creativity &amp; Innovation, &amp; Dundalk Business Improvement Development Scheme (BIDS).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>2024 will be the 6th year of the SEEK Festival; over the last five years the festival has delivered a unique cultural experience for visitors and locals, capturing stories from days gone by, revealing history, and\u00a0bringing them to life in the heart of the town.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The 2024 festival will be comprised of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li><span><strong>5 murals:<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li><span>Monkey Bird Crew \u2013 Peter Rice, Batchelor\u2019s Walk<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Mister Copy \u2013 C\u00fachulainn, Patrick Street<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Studio Giftig \u2013 Edward the Bruce, Francis Street<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Luis Martins 17MATRIX \u2013 The Morr\u00edgan, Patrick Street<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>TBC \u2013 Old Maps of Dundalk, Library \u2013 Museum Quarter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span><strong>Walking tours<\/strong> will take place each day to the various murals with knowledgeable guides imparting the history of the town and the people we are celebrating.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong>Children\u2019s and Teens\u2019<\/strong> spray painting workshops will take place at the Market Square on the Saturdays during the festival.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong>Mobile FabLab<\/strong> community activities at the Market Square<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong>SEEK Summer School<\/strong> with students from TY and above learning about cyanotypes \/ blueprints and map making.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span>A launch event in Creative Spark\u2019s Downtown Hub in the town centre on 31 May 2024 will feature presentations by the artists on their practice, their inspirations and their plans for the festival walls.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":29741,"template":"","class_list":["post-29740","event","type-event","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>SEEK Urban Arts Festival 2024 - Creative Ireland Programme<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"SEEK Urban Arts Festival was established in 2019.\" \/>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/seek-urban-arts-festival-2024\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"SEEK Urban Arts Festival 2024 - Creative Ireland Programme\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"SEEK Urban Arts Festival was established in 2019.
