We are back with our “Flower for wellbeing” project and also we are ready to celebrate our Flower Festival in Moyne again! A series of workshops will be facilitated to different community groups in Co. Longford by professional artists from different disciplines like textiles, dance, visual arts, mural design and garden designers.<\/span>
We are bringing to the communities\u2019 experiences that improve their wellbeing all through the importance of flowers, connecting with nature and the cultural exchange behind it.<\/span>
In addition to that, this year the community of Moyne is celebrating a very special occasion, a great opportunity to gather at this creative cultural event and visit the new premises.<\/span>

Programme for the festival on the 2nd of June 2024 from 11.30 am as follow:<\/span><\/p>\n

11:30 \u2013 <\/strong>Official opening and welcoming to local artisans, market, and flower vendors.<\/span><\/p>\n

12:00 – <\/strong>A presentation of a mural designed by local students and rendered by local artist Anna Wiercioch will take place.<\/span><\/p>\n

12:30 –<\/strong> Garden designer Mary Holmes will share her knowledge by delivering a lecture and will give a demonstration explaining the benefits of plants and flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n

1:30 – <\/strong>A street performance for all will take place with Orson Sterrit.<\/span><\/p>\n
