“Spent” is an ambitious three-part drama series about a group of five college students going camping on the beach area of Enniscrone, Co. Sligo. \u00a0Their trip becomes an issue of confronting personal challenges and existential questions. \u00a0The narrative evolves into a serial and abstract exploration of adulthood and decision-making.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Conceived in November 2022 by Stephen Hallinan and Cormac Kilty, \u201cSpent\u201d draws inspiration from the intersection of the natural world with human emotion and thought, reminiscent of the poignant storytelling in “Normal People” and the complex sci-fi landscapes of “The Leftovers”. Currently in production, the first episode is complete, with the dedicated team working tirelessly towards finalising the series.\u00a0<\/p>\n
