It is a very important service for the people attending as it may be their only social engagement over a 2 week period.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Sweet Memories Choir\u00a0is for any person with a diagnosis of Dementia\/Alzheimer&#8217;s and their family\/loved ones carers. The aim of the choir is to create a supportive, relaxed social space for people with dementia to meet and\u00a0to promote a sense of inclusion, togetherness, achievement and self worth. It is an opportunity to engage in a meaningful activity with their family\/carer\/loved ones. Rhythm and Music are skills that are retained in later stages of dementia.
