“Promenade” by SoFFt Productions will see a cul-de-sac street in Mac U\u00edll\u00edam Estate turned into an iconic catwalk. The space will transform into a vibrant and dynamic stage, showcasing a catwalk performance created and designed by the local community under Conor Jacob\u2019s artistic direction. In the weeks and months leading up to the festival, community members will participate in a series of workshops, gaining valuable skills in fashion, costume design, and lighting technology.<\/p>\n
The street will be illuminated with various lighting fixtures, making it a place of beauty and artistic expression. Trees, walls, and buildings will be uplit, while Astera Tubes will frame the public walkway windows. Projections will animate apartment windows, featuring DJ sets from local music setups like SubSounds and Noise Music South Dublin who work with Mac U\u00edll\u00edam arts camps.<\/p>\n
\u2018Enchanted Garden\u2019 by Tom Meskell will be a lantern installation of over 50 sculptural pieces including illuminated trees, giant woodland animals and huge fruits.
