The scheme creates local and voluntary networks of older people interested in the arts and culture in order that they may accompany each other to arts events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Cork Cultural Companions is an affiliated organisation within the national cultural companions programme and is managed through Cork County Federation of Muintir na Tire. Its principal aim is to provide increased opportunities for older people to engage with Cork city and county\u2019s vibrant cultural and arts scene.
