{"id":33793,"date":"2024-11-02T03:04:17","date_gmt":"2024-11-02T03:04:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/event\/bealtaine-at-dance-limerick\/"},"modified":"2024-11-02T03:04:17","modified_gmt":"2024-11-02T03:04:17","slug":"bealtaine-at-dance-limerick","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/bealtaine-at-dance-limerick\/","title":{"rendered":"Bealtaine at Dance Limerick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Dance Limerick are pleased to partner again with Age &amp; Opportunity in 2024 building on the success of last year\u2019s collaboration, to bring together a new intergenerational performance project for all to enjoy during <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bealtaine.ie\/\"><span><strong>Bealtaine Festival 2024.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><span>Movement is sparked by feeling, sound and connection.&nbsp;<\/span><\/em><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span>A world of imagination, energy, connection, and spirit\u2026 Our lust for life.<\/span><\/em><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In this year\u2019s vibrant performance <strong>Dance Limerick\u2019s <\/strong><\/span><em><strong>High Kicks<\/strong><\/em><span><strong> over 50s group<\/strong> collaborate with local dance artists and <strong>children 7-14 yrs from the newly formed <\/strong><\/span><em><strong>Inclusive Dance Club<\/strong><\/em><span>. Together they will explore movement and imagination within an experimental world created live by <strong>musician Paddy Mulcahy<\/strong>. This creative, improvisational choreographic process will be led by <strong>DL.
