The wider benefits of singing in improving mental health and wellbeing is well recognised in many medical studies.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This choir focuses less on the technical aspects of the voice and more on building enjoyment, boosting confidence, improving mood and creating a strong sense of community connection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Continuing on from a very successful programme in 2024 the group who meet weekly will perform twice at Bealtaine in Ballymahon Library, a national festival which celebrates creativity in older people. Its also planned to once again have a Christmas concert.
