\u2018Swinging June\u2019 is a new short film project by Katie Honan, driven by creative community
engagement. The film explores how dance can enhance the movement of people living with
Parkinson\u2019s. A story about June, a formidable woman who is desperate to dance at her
granddaughter’s communion, but afraid her aging body will be a barrier \u2014 she fights for strength
to swing on the big day with her best friend.<\/p>\n

This year, Katie and an exceptional team will embark on a series of creative activities with people
living with Parkinson\u2019s in Waterford. From coffee mornings creatively discussing and sharing ideas
on the new short film script \u2018Swinging June\u2019, to a dance workshop facilitated by an experienced
