Taking place over eight workshops in August 2025 at An T\u00e1in Arts Centre, the project offers a welcoming, accessible space for participants to engage with visual art\u2014many for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Each session will introduce different aspects of portraiture, from technical approaches to exploring self-identity through imagery. Participants will be encouraged to work with a medium that resonates with them\u2014painting, drawing, watercolour, gouache or acrylic\u2014using personal reference materials such as photographs, objects, or imagined versions of themselves.<\/p>\n<p>With in-depth guidance and time to experiment, each participant will create a final portrait that reflects their individual story, drawing from their past, present and future.
