Rooted in local heritage and open to all, this project brings people together through the universal language of movement and rhythm, as the unique dance traditions of North Kerry are rediscovered and celebrated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Four exciting strands bring the project to life:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Rhythms of the Land \u2013 Journey into the life and legacy of Jeremiah Molyneaux and his distinct North Kerry dance style.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The Music Moves Us \u2013 Explore the improvisational spirit of sean n\u00f3s dancing and its deep ties to regional traditions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Circles of Tradition \u2013 Step into the social heartbeat of the past with c\u00e9il\u00ed and crossroads dancing, once a vibrant part of life in places like Finuge.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Sharing the Step \u2013 Celebrate the rich tapestry of community life in North Kerry through folk dances from diverse backgrounds.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Each strand includes interactive talks, community discussions, dance workshops, public events and a final performance blending dance, music, and storytelling. Whether you’re a dancer, a listener, or simply curious come join us and be part of North Kerry\u2019s living tradition!<\/span><\/p>\n
