This winter, they will present a live play at The Glens Arts Centre, exploring creativity through tailored workshops in acting, dance, movement and singing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The play, written by Joel Smith, will incorporate local history and the theme of climate change. Directed by Paddy McEneaney, the performance will include original songs and choreography. Participants will receive specialist training from Valerie Whitworth (singing), Kate Wilson (dance), and Roisin Loughrey (filmmaking).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Filmmaker Roisin Loughrey will document the creative process and produce multimedia elements\u2014such as recorded routines and scenes\u2014to support the live performance. These recordings will offer a creative safety net for participants and enhance the on-stage experience. Filmic elements like multi-location scenes and roving reporters will also be developed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The project will give participants more time and support to explore their talents across disciplines, working with a wide range of professional artists.
