Guided by professional puppeteer Carmel Balfe and youth theatre facilitator Mary Ellen, participants will explore the creative process of developing original stories and bringing them to life using shadow puppets and hand-held figures.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the project, members will be supported in designing and crafting their own puppets, learning techniques for movement, voice, and expression, and shaping scripts that reflect their ideas and imagination. As the project unfolds, participants will also gain hands-on experience in production design\u2014experimenting with light, materials, and special effects to create captivating shadow scenes.<\/p>\n<p>The journey will culminate in a public performance, where these mini plays and stories will be shared with the wider community.
