James Mac Inerney is an  internationally-acclaimed Professional Makeup Artist, most recognised  for being a finalist on the Netflix and BBC series Glow Up season 2 and  guest judge for RT\u00c9\u2019s Glow Up Ireland.<\/p>\n

As part of the Shorelines Art Festival, Portumna will host a special photography showcase,  comprising of 20 looks which promises a unique exploration of the  intersection between makeup and art. James Mac uses makeup as a medium to express artistry and tell stories, demonstrating its potential beyond traditional beauty applications. The exhibition touches on themes of identity, personal journey, and the LGBTQIA+ community, as it also pays homage to James\u2019 family and friends. <\/p>\n

To launch the exciting Make Up X Art exhibition, James Mac will be doing  an in-person live demo with his take on beauty and the world of makeup.  Showing you the unconventional magic of makeup artistry, James will create work live on stage with top industry hosts, showcasing what is not 
necessarily obvious to the untrained eye. This master class will leave you  thinking about the beauty of makeup & art together like you\u2019ve never seen it before. <\/p>\n

This is a free event but workshop spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. <\/p>\n
