This project will see  folk singer and artist Emer Dunne from County Laois, present ‘<\/span>Folk Threads<\/span><\/em>‘ Tour. Emer Dunne (and group – a Trio) travel to the US and perform ten shows in various cities along the East Coast USA Sept 4th – 14th 2025. Emer will perform Irish folk music and song and represent the cultural richness of our country and county abroad. <\/span><\/p>\n

The aim is to  connect with Irish and Irish American communities, particularly those with ties to Laois, and to act as a cultural ambassador for the wider county while abroad. The project creates an opportunity to build meaningful links between Laois and the Irish diaspora, to promote the county\u2019s cultural identity on an international stage, and to raise awareness to the artistic talent emerging from our local community.
